Q. How do I get started?
A. We have made it easy for you! Email us your application, provided on our site and we can find what you are looking for. If you would like to speak to us directly, please feel free to call 403.978.3215. Or email CA@rent2owncalgary.com
Q. How does the Rent 2 Own program work exactly?
A. You pick the home that you desire; you rent it from our company and have the right to purchase within 3 years at time of signing. It allows you time to invest your money into home ownership in the long-term opposed to paying rent to someone else's mortgage. It allows you time to save up a larger down payment and to clean up any past credit problems. A portion of your monthly payment goes towards the down payment of the property and is credited towards the purchase of the home.
Q. I have really bad credit, can I still qualify?
A. YES! We are here to HELP YOU become a homeowner, so we will look at your current financial situation and work with you to find the best solution. We offer individual and direct financing for you!
Q. How much money do I need to get started with your program?
A. This is such an individual question, so it depends on your current situation. Again, WE ARE HERE TO WORK FOR YOU and can offer the best option for you with whatever money you do have available. All we ask is that you work with us in complete honesty with your financial situation.
Q. Who pays for monthly maintenance on the property?
A. YOU do! This is YOUR home, so you have to treat it like yours. You are responsible to any improvements that you would like to make and in the long term this will be beneficial as it will increase your investment.
Q. Is Insurance and Property taxes included in my monthly payment?
A. YES! There are no hidden costs to you and we will review everything at the time of purchase. We pay all the property taxes and the real estate insurance. If you choose to purchase resident insurance to cover the possessions in your home, that is up to you. This is YOUR HOME, so you will also be responsible for theutilites and any house hold bills.
